We have seen several of these out in the marketplace, but I don't know that many compare to this version. I could not be more pleased with the quality of the game. The basketballs are real mini balls, the rims are solid as a rock, and the infrared scoring system is fantastic. Not much more to say. We are thoroughly pleased and I think you will be as well!

Looked great, price was right! Unfortunately I did not get the same result as the "Rock solid hoops" from another review that I read. Both hoops have broken off within 4 months of use. This unit is in a game room setting next to a different manufactures basket ball game. They get heavy use during the summer. I have had to replace 1 hoop on the other unit so I know that I am not expecting an indestructible game. However I have made 2 attempts to contact vendor to buy replacement hoops and have not been responded to. I hope this review at least helps to get them to contact me.12/20/2011:I did finally get a response from Carrom:I am sorry. Replacement parts are not available.Thank youCarrom Customer Service

Overall srtucture of the game is good as long as you are keeping it one place.It plays well and keeps score pretty accurately. However.... Score device itself is very fragile and made with real cheap / brittle plastic. Especially where the AC adapter plugs in. Also, this unit does not run on batteries like the previous ones did. Inside wiring is horrible and looks like it was soldered with hot glue. The 2 folding hinges are weak and bend easily. THE BIGGEST downfall is that you cannot get replacement parts for the newest model (black nets)The Chinese company that manufactures the game refuses to sell any replacement parts to Carrom. .. So they cannot sell them to you because they have none. If the score unit goes. You have to either buy a whole new unit, or use it to dry laundry. Not Carroms fault directly, but bad for the end user. I have 5 of these and found out the hard way
